The research tries to apply the concept of counterplexity to the field of education. It is possible define counterplex education as the education in those social systems in which the return of education is lower than in the previous degree of complexity but still continue to grow because the ruling players find their dominant strategies beyond complex optimum. The theory is consistent and makes use of the concept of education overload and overeducation. The theory will find the reason of the increase of the level and complexity of the system of education, its decreasing payout and it will analyze the reasons of the adoption of a strategy of increasing education in the fact that the dominant strategy of the ruling players is located beyond complex optimum.
