An educational model for Cambodia.
As we approach the middle of the second decade of the twenty-first century, and as ASEAN moves towards becoming an economic community in 2015, education meets the challenge of the internationalization of goals, standard and methods. The project aims to study three regional development models: the European Union (EU); the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA); and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and their respective visions of education.
The project considers the economic, political and social underpinnings of Higher Education in three selected countries in each model, namely the UK, Venezuela and Cambodia.
Seminar: Models of Education in the EU ALBA and ASEAN, University of East London, 3 February, 5-6.30 pm, room ED 2.02.
