Sebastiano D'Urso

Assistant professor of Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Catania. He has taken his PhD in “Design and architectural urban and environmental restoration” at the University of Catania (Italy). His research interests include building design and architectural languages.  He is particularly interested in ephemeral architecture, in that it is the real place of design experimentation. Recently he has turned himself towards the search for contemporary inhabiting sense, investigating the conditions and the places where it develops. He is author of 4 books and many book chapters, and author or co-author of many of papers published on national and international conference proceedings. He has translated 2 books from Spanish.
